A pneumatic valve device (17) for ejecting, by pressurised air, moulded articles (16) in plastic material from a cavity of a mould (10, 11); the valve device (17) comprises a valve body (18) havingan air feeding chamber (34) connectable to a pressure air source, and a spring-biased pressure-actuated valve member (20, 21). The valve member comprises a valve head (20) having fore and side surfaces (30, 27), and a stem (21) rearwardly extending from the head (20); an air flow path (32, 33) is provided in the valve member from the rear end of the steam (21) to at least one exit hole (33) on the side surface (27) of the valve head (20). The valve member (20, 21) is axially movable between a retracted position into a seat of the valve body (18), in which closes the flow path (32, 33), and an advanced position in which the valve head (20) protrudes into the cavity of the mould (10, 11). At the closure of the mould (10, 11) in case of failure, the valve head (20) firstly is moved back to an intermediate position by a movable member (11) of the mould (10, 11) into the seat to close the flow path, and then pushed into the fully retracted position by the thrust of the plastic material flowing into an annular space between facing surfaces (13, 30) of the valve head (20) and the movable member (11) of the mould.

A method and an apparatus for injection co-molding and assembling of articles made of plastic material, the articles comprising a first part (10) provided with a hinge pin (14), and a second part (11) provided with an annular element (15) designed to be connected to each other by hinging. The apparatus comprises a mold (20, 21) having separate mold impressions for two parts (10, 11) of the article to be produced; a first molding member (40), defining the impression of the pin (14), and a second molding member (41 ), defining the impression of the annular element (15), are axially movable and operatively connected to cam control means (46, 47) forming part of the same injection mold. The cam control means (46, 47) are shaped and arranged in such a way as to cause, after the opening of the mold (20, 21 ), the automatic assembling of the plastic article, by means of a selective sequence of axial movements of the two molding members (40, 41), during the demolding step of the molded article.

It is described a method and an apparatus for injection co-mould and assemble plastic material objects having a first part provided with a hinge pin, and a second part provided with an annular element suitable to be coupled in an articulated manner. The apparatus includes a mould having separated moulding impressions for the two parts to be moulded; a first moulding pin element defining the pin impression and a second moulding pin element defining the annular element impression are provided. The apparatus includes cooling means; particularly the first pin element is internally provided with a channel and a tubular element, being coaxially arranged and defining a cooling gap. A cooling fluid flows through the tubular element and the gap. Cams are provided which axially move the pin elements to cause the automatic assembly of the object during the mould opening and then to allow extracting the moulded object.
