Abstract: The invention relates to a method for emitting flue gas from a fireplace with a burner for burning liquid fuel inside an indoor room. The method comprising the steps of passing flue gas from the burner to a flue gas outlet of the chimney. The flue gas outlet is directed to the interior of the indoor room. The flue gas outlet is positioned so that a selected linear distance is established between the flue gas outlet and a position on a ceiling or on a wall of the indoor room. An inlet of a heat exchange system is provided at the position on the ceiling or the wall of the indoor room. The flue gas is passed from the flue gas outlet through the indoor room and to the heat exchange system inlet.

Abstract: A device is supplying combustion air to a combustion chamber (11), in which solid fuel is being burned, and the air supply is controlled in accordance with at predetermined program as a function of combustion time. The predetermined program is preferably based on empirical data. The combustion air may be supplied by means of a valve member (13), which is displaceable between first and second positions, and the valve member may expose varying areas of air supply opening(s) (12, 14) when moved between said positions. Abstract: The invention relates to a burner comprising a container for storing liquid fuel, a fuel inlet for filling liquid fuel into the container, and a fire outlet for fire from burning liquid fuel to leave the burner.
