    Abstract: The invention is directed at converting wave energy into electric power. The inventive converter comprises the following kinetically interconnected elements: a fixed post, float chambers, a frame, shaft, multiplying gear and an electric generator. Said converter also comprises interacting with each other a second shaft, first and second gear wheels and at least two motion converters, wherein the first and second gear wheels are fixedly mounted on respective shafts and interact with each other, each motion converter comprises a vertical rod which is mounted in such a way that it is vertically oscillatable and whose top end is provided with a first unit mounted thereon and the lower end is provided with a third gear wheel interacting with the first and second float chambers. First and second freewheel clutches provided with the gear wheels are mounted on the shafts and interact with the third gear wheel through first and second chains. The inventive structural design of the converter makes it possible to increase the performance coefficient.

    Abstract: The invention relates to space engineering, more specifically to the structural design of a spacecraft provided with a solar sail. The inventive craft consists a body (1), a main (2) and additional (3) reflective ring-shaped surfaces and means for the formation thereof. Means for controlling said reflective surfaces are embodied in the form of gimbals (4, 5). The formation means comprising spin devices (6, 7) and pneumatic systems (8, 9) which are provided with concentric air chambers and radial struts is mounted on the external frames of the gimbals. Said air chambers and radial struts can be embodied in the form of a flexible pipe containing equidistantly disposed valves provided with holes to which interacting pneumatic toroidal or ball-shaped cells are spliced. The valves can comprise spring-loaded balls interacting with a compressed air contained in the flexible tube. The balls can be made of a low-melting material and provided with heating coils which are arranged therein and connected a power supply. The spin device is embodied in the form of a hoop which carries said pneumatic system and freely rotates on the external frame of the corresponding gimbal suspension. The hoop is rotatably driven by a conventional or linear annular electric motor. The connection to the power supply can be carried out by means of contact brushes. Said invention makes it possible to increase the thrust of the solar sail and a payload mass by reducing the mass of the solar sail per unit surface area thereof.

    Abstract: The invention relates to renewable energy sources, in particular to the use of the potential energy of moving transportation means or pedestrians, waves, water, the energy of arms and legs of a human being, and to converting said energy into electrical or mechanical energy. In the first variant, the energy converter is in the form of a road power device with a spring-loaded platform. In another variant, the energy converter is in the form a wave power device with pontoons transmitting motion to vertical elements. In the next variant, the energy converter is in the form of a rocking arm device which is used for converting the potential energyof a liquid and is provided with alternately lifting reservoirs. In the subsequent variant, the energy converter is provided with blades, a platform and a bar. In the next variant, the energy converter is in the form of a bicycle with two additional freewheel clutches. In the next variant, the energy converter is in the form of a propelling device for an invalid carriage provided with alternatively interacting freewheel clutches. The invention makes it possible to simplify the structural design and to extend the functionalities of converters.

    Abstract: The inventive solar wind-driven craft relates to space engineering, more specifically to the structural design of a solar wind-driven craft using a solar light pressure for motion control. Said invention makes it possible to substentially increase the thrust of the solar wind-driven craft and a payload mass by reducing the specific load of the craft per unit area of the surface thereof. The essence of the invention lies in that in a known wind-driven craft consisting of a body, a main and additional ring-shaped reflective surfaces and means for the formation thereof which comprise a spin device, means for controlling the orientation of flexible reflective surfaces are provided with a gimbal suspension on which the spin device and corresponding formation means which are embodied in the form of a pneumatic system and comprise concentric air chambers and radial struts are mounted. In addition, said air chambers and radial struts are embodied in the form of a flexible pipe which comprises equidistantly disposed valves provided with holes to which interacting pneumatic toroidal or ball-shaped cells are spliced. Said valve comprises a tube provided with two radial holes and a spring-loaded ball which is arranged inside said valve and interacts with a compressed air contained in the flexible tube cavity. In the second variant, the valve comprises two elastic mutually perpendicular strips interacting with the ball. The balls can be made of a low-melting material (for example a plastic material) and comprise spirals which are arranged thereinside, made of a high electrical resistant material (for example nichrome) and serially connected to each other and to a voltage source by means of an electric wire. The spin device is embodied in the form of a hoop which is arranged on the external frame of a mantel suspension in such a way that it is rotatable and interacting, by means of a wheel, with a newly introduced third electric motor. A pneumatic system for forming a reflective surface is arranged on the hoop and pneumatically connected, through a sealed channel which is arranged in the external frame of the gimbal suspension, to a pressurised gas source disposed in the craft body. The second embodiment of the spin device comprises rotor and stator coils which are disposed on the external frame of the gimbal suspension and on the hoop, respectively and interact therebetween. The stator coil ends and the rotor coil ends are connected to the voltage source through rotatable concentric rings mounted on the electric rings thereof and through brushes which are fixedly connected to the external frame of the gimbal suspension.
