    Abstract: The present invention pertains to the field of magnetic systems and more precisely to structures and materials for the magnetic conductors used in electromagnets. This invention can be used mainly in closure devices for locking vehicle locks, safes or doors in order to prevent any unauthorised access. This invention essentially relates to an electromagnet that comprises a magnetic conductor in the shape of a cylinder, wherein said cylinder is provided with a bottom and a cover and contains a magnetisation cartridge as well as an anchor having a portion made of a hard magnetic material. The use of this electromagnet in closure devices such as button-type or blocking devices enables the latter to have a more compact structure, a higher secrecy as well as a higher protection reliability against unauthorised access. This is due to the higher retention force of the closure members constituting the electromagnet.
