Abstract: An apparatus for the movement of a filled valve-sack from a filling position on a filling nozzle (2) to a closing position comprises two finger-shaped gripping elements (15) which can grip around that edge of the valve (23) which faces the nozzle (2) and on each side of the nozzle. The position of the valve can hereby be defined in a positive manner during the withdrawal of the sack from the nozzle and forward to that position in which the valve (23) is to be closed, e.g. by ultrasonic welding.
