Abstract:
The invention relates to cooling furniture (1) comprising at least one cooling unit, an internal storage compartment (11) for storing of products, and at least one vertically extending transparent door (2) facilitating access to said storage compartment, wherein the cooling furniture further comprises illumination means (3) for emitting light in the visible as well as in the infrared range, the illumination means (3) being arranged on the exterior of. said cooling furniture so that the main part of the light from said illumination means when in operation is emitted towards the transparent door, and in that said transparent door (2) is of a transparent single-pane construction (4), wherein a transparent layer (7) is applied on the internal pane surface of the transparent door, the transparent layer being at least partly infrared reflecting, and wherein means are provided for electrical heating of the transparent pane (4) so that said light emitted by the illumination means in the infrared range largely will prevent the formation of condensation on the single-pane construction.
