Abstract: Vasculature closure devices (e.g. 100), and system and methods for their use. are provided In one embodiment, the vasculature closure device (100) includes an expandable support frame (110) deployable within a vessel (10) and a sealing membrane (105) at least partially supported by the expandable support frame (110). Upon expanding the support frame (110), the vasculalture closure device (100) is configured to intraluminally position the sealing membrane (105) against a puncture site (15) existing in a vessel (10) wall.
