Abstract: A sinking rope structure (100) that comprises an outer layer (1) and a core (10) consisting of a tubular sheath (2) closed transversally by a plurality of welded portions (3) in order to form filled chambers (4) arranged in series and separated by the welded portions (3). More in detail, the filled chambers (4) are filled with a filling material, generically a loose material selected from the group comprised of : loose solid or liquid material (5) with specific weight higher than one to obtain a sinking rope. In particular, the method for making the core (10) of the sinking rope same ensures a production cost remarkably less than known sinking ropes present on the market and provides adjusting the size of the filled chambers (4) displacing simply the position of the transversal welding (3) in order to obtain a core with various size and then more or less flexible ropes responsive to the use to which they are destined.
