Abstract:
A fluid control valve assembly comprising a bladder and positioning means to assist in positioning the bladder in a pipe or duct, the bladder being adapted to substantially to fill a cross-sectional area of the pipe or duct thereby to restrict flow of fluid through the pipe or duct in use and wherein the positioning means comprises a body having a bladder attachment formation for attachment to the bladder and a tool attachment formation for attachment to a positioning tool for positioning the bladder in the pipe or duct in use.
Abstract:
A system for automotive coating applications presents a paint supply source for delivering the paint to a powder destination. A paint line fluidly interconnects the paint supply source and powder destination. A compressed fluid source is separable from the paint line is designed for selectively introducing compressed fluid into the paint line in response to the blockage of the paint line and for generating compressed pressure in the paint line to permeate compressed fluid into the blockage. A pressure relief device fluidly communicates with the paint line for reducing compressed pressure in the paint line and evacuating the blockage from the paint line.
Abstract:
A powder paint reclaim system (10) includes a plurality collectors (18) disposed beneath a paint booth for collecting powder paint not adhered to an article (12) being painted. Each of the collectors (18) has a fluidizer (34) for fluidizing the powder paint. A transporter (48) is connected to at least one of the collectors (18) for transporting powder paint from the collectors (18) to a powder paint reclaim hopper (54). At least a portion of each transporter (48) is disposed below the collector (18) and has fluidizer (34) for fluidizing the powder paint inside the transporter (48). Each transporter (48) is connected to at least one of the collectors (18) by a transfer line (36) transferring powder paint from the collector (18) to a portion of the transporter (48) disposed below the collector (18) enabling powder paint maintained in a fluidized state to gravitationally flow from the collector (18) to the transporter (48) and from the transporter (48) to the powder paint reclaim hopper (54) under positive pressure generated inside the transporter (48).
Abstract:
An assembly for applying a powdery substance to an article includes a receiver fluidly connected to a source of the powdery substance for receiving the powdery substance under pressure and having a receiver fluidizer for maintaining the powdery substance in a fluidized state. A feed transporter is fluidly connected to the receiver for receiving the powdery substance from the receiver and having a transporter fluidizer maintaining the powdery substance in a fluidized state. A powder applicator is fluidly connected to the feed transporter for receiving the powdery substance under pressure and applying the powdery substance to an article. An equalizer interconnecting the receiver to the feed transporter for equalizing a gas pressure between the receiver and the feed transporter while the powdery substance is being transferred to the feed transporter from the receiver.
Abstract:
The present invention provides truncated gene-specific primers in panels that can be used during the reverse transcription step of RT-PCR to increase signal detection of cancer gene markers in a tissue sample. Also provided are forward and reverse primers for RT-PCR. Methods of using the primers are also provided.
Abstract:
A paint application facility including a paint booth assembly for applying paint to automotive vehicles (12) each defining a longitudinal axis includes a carrier (56) adapted to serially move a plurality of automotive vehicles through the booth assembly (28) in a direction generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The paint booth has a width defined by opposite walls (72) and said carriers are serially moved through said paint application chamber by a conveyor (66) disposed outside said opposing walls.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for detecting metastases of epithelial cancers, comprising detecting in non-primary tissue overexpression of a nucleic acid of KS1/4, or detecting in non-primary tissue overexpression of a combination of nucleic acids of KS1 / 4 and PIP, of nucleic acids of KS1/4 and mam, of nucleic acids of PIP and mam, of nucleic acids of KS1/4, PIP and mam, or of nucleic acids of KS1/4 and lunx, the overexpression of a nucleic acid of KS1/4, or the overexpression of a combination of nucleic acids of KS1/4 and PIP, of nucleic acids of KS1/4 and mam, of nucleic acids of PIP and mam, of nucleic acids of KS1/4, PIP and mam, or of nucleic acids of KS1/4 and lunx in non-primary tissue being correlated with metastases of epithelial cancers.
Abstract:
An under booth paint collection apparatus is positioned beneath a paint application booth (32) that includes an air circulation system for painting a product with particulate paint. A plurality of discrete powder reclamation collectors (58) are arranged in aligned rows beneath the booth. Continuously aligned air chambers are each positioned above one of the opposing rows of reclamation collectors (58). Each air chamber (56) is defined by having opposed continuous side walls (69) interconnecting said reclamation collectors. Each air chamber provides a continuous air plenum directing air and particulate paint not adhered to the product being painted from the application booth to the plurality of discrete reclamation chambers.
