Abstract: A portable restroom system, comprising an opaque poncho, a fecal bag, a urine bag, sanitary wipes, and a compact container bag receiving the poncho, fecal bag, urine bag, and sanitary wipes. By using an opaque material for the poncho and bags, the process of urinating or defecating is concealed. A specially designed fecal bag ensures waste is readily captured while wearing the poncho. In one embodiment, the poncho, fecal bag, urine bag and hygiene wipes are labeled and packed in separate pouches sized to fit in the container bag. The container bag may be a stand-alone bag or a pocket on the poncho. A method of using the system is also disclosed.
