Abstract: Convertible pants (100) include a waist portion (102) and legs (104). Each leg (104) includes an upper leg segment (106) attached to the waist portion (102), a storage compartment (116) disposed on the upper leg segment (106), and a lower leg segment (108) undetachably connected to the upper leg segment (106) at an attachment point (118). The lower leg segment (108) includes a panel (115) and a coupling mechanism (110) detachably connecting a first longitudinal edge (112) of the panel (115) to a second longitudinal edge (114) of the panel (115). In a shorts mode, the lower leg segment (108) is disposed within the storage compartment (116) such that the leg (104) has a first length (L1). Abstract: A portable restroom system, comprising an opaque poncho, a fecal bag, a urine bag, sanitary wipes, and a compact container bag receiving the poncho, fecal bag, urine bag, and sanitary wipes. By using an opaque material for the poncho and bags, the process of urinating or defecating is concealed. A specially designed fecal bag ensures waste is readily captured while wearing the poncho.
