Abstract:
The object of the invention is a method and an apparatus to rotate a tube and to move it in the direction of its geometric centre axis (100.1) in its production process. The apparatus (1) consists of at least a chain (2), a drive wheel (3), a sheave (4), tensioner (7) and chain guides (9, 10). The chain has been set to go round the drive wheel and the sheave and the tube to be produced (100) so that there is an anti-skid contact between the chain and the tube and thus the tube rotates. The chain advances the length of the pitch (N) with every rotation of the tube (100) to the forward direction (x) and thus the tube advances rotating this distance into this direction per each rotation. The method according to the invention is used to produce tube (100) with the apparatus (1) according to the invention.
Abstract:
The subject of this invention is a method to produce plastic tube (1) and according to this method the material of the plastic tube is fed around a core (2) that has the same diameter as the inside diameter of the tube, and the material is fed as ail uninterrupted material flow so that the material flow, after having settled upon the core, goes forward following essentially the helical line in the side direction (x) of the core inside a mold (4) that has been mounted on the core. The plastic tube is formed of the material ribbons (3) and of the melted plastic material (5) that is to be fed to the spaces between the ribbons. The round and rising sheet (4.3) at the end of the mold directs the material flow to the side direction (x) of the core and the head of the plastic tube (1.1) gets welded and fixed to the starting tube (7) that is used to draw the tube as the production process advances in the side direction (x) of the core.
