Abstract: An inflatable coupling component tube 12 for a fluid-operated brake or clutch includes an elongated, generally tubular-shaped structure 24 of predetermined length having two ends 26a, 26b and a joint 28 between the two ends 26a, 26b that closes the tube 12 to form a generally toroidal-shaped cavity 30.
