    摘要: Provided herein are liquid-containing masterbatches and methods of forming liquid- containing masterbatches. The methods may include providing a mixture including an organosilane and porous particles; and heating the mixture at a temperature effective to adsorb at least a portion of the organosilane to one or more surfaces of the porous particles to form a polyolefin master batch. An organosilane may be present in a polyolefin master batch in an amount ranging from about 10 % to about 50 % by weight of the polyolefin master batch, and the porous particles may include (1) polypropylene, (2) a copolymer including (i) a propylene monomer and (ii) at least one of an ethylene monomer and a butene monomer, or (3) a combination thereof.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for crosslinking polyolefins through using a substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane-crosslinkiiig-agent carrier and related moisture- crosslinkable polyolefin-based compositions. The method is for crosslinking a first polyolefin includes the steps of: (A) selecting a second polyolefin being substantially-miscible with the first polyolefin and having particles of a morphology selected from the group consisting of powder and substantially spherical; (B) admixing the second polyolefin to the first polyolefin; (C) adsorbing a silane-crosslinking agent onto the second polyolefin, thereby rendering a substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane-crosslinking-agent carrier; (D) melt blending the first polyolefin and the substantially-miscible, polyolefin-based, silane- crosslinking-agent carrier, thereby yielding a moisture-crosslinkable polyolefin-based composition; and (E) crosslinking the moisture-crosslinkable polyolefin-based composition.

    摘要: Adhesive compositions, processes of forming adhesive compositions, and multi -layer films are discussed herein. Hie processes generally include contacting an olefin monomer with a catalyst system within a polymerization zone to form an olefin based polymer under polymerization conditions sufficient to form the olefin based polymer, the catalyst system including a metal component generally represented by the formula: MR X ; wherein M is a transition metal, R is a halogen, an aikoxy, or a hydrocarboxyl group and x is the valence of the transition metal, wherein the catalyst system further includes an internal donor (ID) comprising a C 3 -C 6 cyclic ether: and withdrawing the olefin based polymer from the polymerization zone; and melt blending the olefin based polymer with a functionalized poly olefin to form a polyolefm based adhesive composition, wherein the process is an in-line process.
