The method comprising breaking a single piece of magnetic material into a plurality of pieces; inhibiting movement of the pieces with respect to each other during the breaking of the magnetic material; and forming a magnetic structure comprising the plurality of pieces of the magnetic material.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a magnetic material structure and a magnetic structure. The method comprises the steps of breaking at least one single piece of magnetic material into a plurality of fragments; inhibiting lateral movement of the plurality of fragments with respect to each other during the breaking of the magnetic material; forming an intermediate structure comprising the fragments of the magnetic material, wherein lateral movement of the plurality of fragments with respect to each other is substantially inhibited in the formed intermediate structure; placing the intermediate structure and a curable material into a container such that the intermediate structure is supported by, and conforms to, a support surface of the container; and curing the curable material while being disposed in the container to form the magnetic material structure.

An acupressure pillow and a method of applying acupressure. The acupressure pillow comprises a support surface for supporting the cervical vertebrae of a person, the support surface extending along a substantially straight center line inwardly from a front end of the pillow; a toothed support structure substantially traversing the support surface, the toothed support structure comprising a first acupressure tooth disposed substantially on the straight center line and configured for exerting acupressure centrally below the occipital base of a person, and second and third acupressure teeth disposed substantially symmetrically with respect to the center line; and two acupressure protrusions disposed symmetrically with respect to the straight center line between the front end of the pillow and the toothed support structure.

A wearable magnetic device, a method for subjecting a body region to a magnetic field and a set of parts. The wearable magnetic device comprises a magnetic structure configured to generate a magnetic field in a field area of the device; an auxiliary magnet connected to the magnetic structure and configured to increase the intensity of the magnetic field in the field area of the device; and a fastener; wherein the auxiliary magnet and the fastener are configured to magnetically secure the fastener on a side of the auxiliary magnet facing away from the field area of the device with a piece of fabric or a piece of garment disposed between the auxiliary magnet and the fastener.
