Abstract: Provided is a washer dryer which reliably executes intake and exhaust in drying air passages, and can suppress undesired noise from being generated during drying. A guide plate (74) is arranged at a portion which is connected to an exhaust duct (73), the orientation of the guide plate (74) is controlled by a stepping motor (74a), humid drying air which passes through a connection duct (69) is reliably exhausted from the exhaust duct (73), and dried air is introduced into the connection duct (69) from an intake port (69a). If there is no need to introduce dried air from the intake port (69a), the orientation of the guide plate (74) is made to be substantially parallel with the connection duct (69), and drying air is circulated. The generation of undesired noise by an air blowing fan (70) is suppressed without it being necessary to maintain the inside of the exhaust duct (73) at a high pressure.
