Abstract: A trap apparatus (1) including a body (3) defining a trap opening supported across a stream of wind blown matter to be trapped. The trap apparatus also includes a wind-permeable receptacle (6) supported down-stream of the trap opening. The receptacle is at least partially formed of a material having an effective mesh size selected whereby the wind passes therethrough whilst the matter is retained.
