Abstract: A switch box (100) for installation in or on a structure in which an article moves between a closed position and an open position relative to the structure, the switch box (100) including a front wall, a rear wall, a pair of side walls, a top wall and bottom wall and a tamper link device (121) positioned across one of the walls to detect tampering with the box (100), the tamper link device (121) including a link that is part of an electrical circuit which is broken when the link is dislodged by tampering upon whioh an alarm signal is triggered. A further switch box (300) has a switch (302), switch actuator (318) with the switch (302) mounted adjacent an internal surface of at least one of the walls.
