Abstract: A vehicle drive assembly (1) of the type operable by a drive motor in conjunction with a gearing assembly (1) characterised in that in addition to neutrality of the gearing being achievable by operation of a clutch pedal (13) which actuates a clutch assembly (10) neutrality of the gearing may be selectively achieved by an operator of the said vehicle by either operation of the clutch pedal (13) or by actuation of a braking pedal (19) which is linked directly or indirectly to the gearing assembly (1) by a first linkage (29).
