The invention relates to a device for producing a combined movement, which comprises a linear movement in longitudinal direction (4) in a first movement segment (L1) and a predetermined transversal movement (40) containing a predetermined component that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (4) in a subsequent and second movement segment (L2). The device has a linear element (2) that is movably guided along a longitudinal direction (4) and a transversal element that is movably guided on the linear element (2) along a compensating movement path, wherein the compensating movement path (12) contains direction components in and transversal to the longitudinal direction (4) and wherein the transversal element (6) is positively and mechanically driven within the second movement segment (L2) of the linear element (2) in order to execute a relative displacement in longitudinal direction (4) between the transversal (6) and the linear element (2) in such a way that the predetermined transversal movement of the transversal element (6) is achieved as a result of a kinematic overlap from the linear movement and a positively driven movement along the compensating movement path (12).

A user interface system comprises a plurality of linkages connected between a platform and a base. The linkages permit motion of the platform over at least a portion of a spherical surface. A support assembly coupled between the platform and the base comprises a spherical joint having a centre of rotation substantially concentric with a centre of the spherical surface. The spherical joint constrains motion of the platform to the spherical surface. The system may include a sensor corresponding to each linkage. Each sensor may be coupled to sense a movement of its corresponding linkage in response to motion of the platform over the portion of the spherical surface. A user-manipulable handle may be coupled to the platform so that the user can move the platform.

A linkage has a coupled state, where actuation of a multi-functional apparatus (26) causes an interference device (24) to move between the locked position and the unlocked position, wherein in the locked position the interference device (24) does not allow a handle for opening door latches to actuate, and in the unlocked position the interference device allows the handle to actuate. The linkage further has a decoupled state, where actuation of the manual actuation device causes the decoupling linkage to uncouple from the multi-functional apparatus (24), and causes the interference device to move between the locked and the unlocked positions without moving the multi-functional apparatus (24). This arrangement allows for a manual override of the power liftgate lock multi-functional apparatus.

The invention relates to a control device for affecting the accelerator (15) of a vehicle by means of a an actuator, typically a handle (3), arranged within the reach of the driver. The main purpose of use of the invention is to modify vehicles equipped with foot pedal control means so that they become better suitable to be used by disabled persons. The invention is suitable to be used by professional drivers to improve driving comfort. According to the invention, the control device comprises means (20, 21, 30, 20, 60, 30, 20, 80, 30) for locking the actuator (3) with a margin for adjustment into a position in which the actuator (3) is utilized to affect the accelerator (15) of the vehicle, and means (22, 25, 60, 22, 25, 81) for producing a margin for adjustment in said position locked with a margin for adjustment, which margin for adjustment allows the driver to move the actuator (3) and to adjust the accelerator (15) within the adjustment range (31) of the margin of adjustment without releasing said locking. Furthermore, the control device according to the invention comprises means (20, 21, 30, 20, 60, 30, 81, 30) for automatically releasing the locking with a margin for adjustment when the driver turns the actuator (3) more than is allowed by said margin for adjustment.

A dual control for vehicular cranes comprises two separate control units with control levers cooperating in pairs, which levers are protected by casings (7, 7') consisting of pivotable shell parts (9, 9') which in a closed position enclose and protect the control levers and in an open position expose the levers. In the two casings (7, 7') are arranged analogous locking mechanisms (14, 14') which comprise locking means (15, 15') being movable between locking and releasing positions. The two locking mechanisms are coupled to a transmission (18) which in a neutral position permits that the one casing (7') is opened and that in connection therewith transfers the opening motion of the movable shell part (9) to the locking mechanism of the other casing (7) in order to secure its locking means (15) in the locking position and, thereby, make the opening of the other casing (7) impossible as soon as the first one (7') is opened.
