摘要:
An appliance for monitoring in sterile conditions the rate of flow of a body fluid flowing out of a catheter according to the principle of Pitot has a measurement cell (3) upon which the body fluid is applied from above through an inflow chamber (25). The measurement cell (3) has a measurement chamber (31) separated from the inflow chamber (25) by a partition (26), and a covering part (10) with two ventilation openings (28, 28a) closed by bacteria-proof filters (110, 111) by means of which the measurement chamber (4) and the inflow chamber (25) are ventilated. The measurement cell (3) further contains a Pitot tube (43) that may be connected by a connecting pipe (39) to a pressure gauge (2). The Pitot tube (43) is also sealed by a bacteria-proof filter (60) with respect to the connecting pipe (39). Wetting of the bacteria-proof filters (60, 110) by the liquid to be measured is prevented by the liquid barriers (101, 105) arranged within the central part (9) of the measurement chamber (4) or at the lower end of the Pitot tube (43).

A measurement cell (3) for an appliance for sterile monitoring of body fluids that flow out of a catheter has a measurement chamber (4) which receives the body fluid from above, through a Pasteur chamber, and which is provided with a measurement space (31) separated from the Pasteur chamber (25) by an inclined partition (26). Two electrodes (33, 34) are concentrically arranged in the measurement space (31), forming a measurement capacitor. An opening (29) in the partition (26) that acts as a fluid passage, is closed in relation to the Pasteur chamber (25) by a non return valve. The outlet tube (8), and preferably also the inlet tube (6) into the measurement chamber (3), can be shut-off.
摘要:
A device for the sterile monitoring of the flow rate of a bodily fluid emerging from a catheter on the dynamic pressure principle with a measuring cell accepting the bodily fluid from above via an inlet chamber (25), with a measuring chamber (31) separated from the inlet chamber (25) by an intermediate wall (26). Two ventilation apertures (28, 28a) sealed by a bacteria-proof filter (110) are ventilated via the measuring chamber (4) and the inlet chamber (15) and are arranged in the cover section (10) of the measuring cell (3). The measuring cell (3) also contains a pressure tube (43) which can be connected to a pressure measuring box (2) via a connecting line (39). Here, the pressure tube (43) is also sealed off from the connecting line (39) by a bacteria-proof filter (60). The wetting of the bacteria-proof filter by measuring fluid is prevented by the fluid barriers (101 and 105), which are arranged inside the central section (9) of the measuring chamber (4) or at the bottom end of the pressure tube (43).
