Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for providing a trigger signal in response to the commutation of a mechanically commutated electric motor (1). The method comprising the steps of providing a mechanically commutated electric motor (1), providing a power supply for said mechanically commutated electric motor via electrical supply leads (10, 11) from power supply circuitry, providing a filter (15) connected to said electrical supply leads (10, 11), detecting with said filter (15) a voltage spike occurring at commutation, outputting from said filter (15) said trigger signal.
Abstract:
A bed (1) comprising a base part (2), a patient support part (3) ar- ranged above the base part (2), and at least two telescopic elevator columns (7), each comprising an elongate outer tubular member (7a). The outer tubu- lar member (7a) having an open first end, and an elongate inner member (7c) arranged so as to perform a sliding movement through said open first end from a retracted position at least partially within said outer elongate tubular member (7a) to an extended position at least partially outside said outer elon- gate tubular member (7a). The elongate inner member (7c) is supported at a first end by the base part (2). The bed (1) further comprises at least two cross-beams (8) for supporting the patient support part (3). Both of said cross-beams (8) are arranged between the least two telescopic elevator col- umns (7).
Abstract:
A method for operating a brush commutated electric motor(1). The method comprising the steps of supplying a pulse width modulated supply signal having a first predetermined frequency to said brush commutated motor, and adjusting the duty cycle of said pulse width modulated supply signal to a desired value. The method also comprises the further step of adjusting the frequency of the pulse width modulated signal to a second frequency differing from said first predetermined frequency, while maintaining the desired value of the duty cycle.
Abstract:
A method for operating a brush commutated electric motor (13). The method comprising the steps of supplying a supply signal to the brush commutated electric motor (13), estimating the timing of a commutation period for the brush commutated electric motor (13), adapting the supply signal in accordance with a predetermined scheme based on the estimated timing of the commutation period, wherein the predetermined scheme involves supplying the brush commutated electric motor (13) primarily within in the second half of the commutation period.
Abstract:
An electronic circuit adapted to be interposed between a mechanically commutated electric motor (1) and a motor controller (4) for said mechanically commutated electric motor (1). The electronic circuit comprises a spike detector (7) adapted to provide detector output signal output in response to a detection of a spike. The electronic circuit com- prises a modulator (10)adapted to provide a modulator output signal in response to a modulator input signal from the spike detector (7).The modulator output (11) is connected to the input terminals of the motor (1) so as to superpose the modulator output signal on the power supply signal from the motor controller (4).
