This invention relates to high density volatile and nonvolatile memories, and more particularly to selection devices in bipolar resistive random access memory. The present day technology uses positive and negative field on memory device to change resistance states. Various metal oxides used in bipolar RRAM operations display symmetric as well as asymmetric operation. However, there is no selection device which works close to symmetric or even some asymmetric operation. A memory element is proposed for providing high density volatile/non-volatile memory storage which comprises of memory element and bipolar vertical selector device. Further, the selector device is based on punch-through mechanism concept.

    摘要: The present invention proposes a system and method for mapping the heat flux incident on a surface of the receiver of a solar concentrator. The flux mapping system disclosed analyses temperature profile indicated by high accuracy thermocouples to map the flux. The system uses the temperature profile along a metal strip to determine the heat flux. This method and system can be used for flux mapping of point focus and line focus concentrating solar collectors. The flux mapping system proposed in the present invention is easy to handle, easy to manufacture and has simple calibration techniques. The present invention is robust, cheaper and requires very low maintenance.

    摘要: A method and system for implementing DMPP tracking of partially shaded/uniformly illuminated photovoltaic arrays using switched capacitor DC-DC converter is disclosed. Here, a dedicated SC converter is connected across each PV cell or PV module made of series connected PV cells wherein series connected modules make a PV string and parallel connected PV strings make up a PV array. This SC converter injects an equalization current across the PV module or PV cell so that the total current in the parallel combination of the PV module or PV cell and the corresponding SC converter is the same as the PV string current. In another implementation of DMPP tracking using SC converters, a dedicated SC converter is connected across each isolated PV module to perform MPP tracking of the respective PV module. Then all MPP tracking SC converter outputs are diode ORed to the common load.
