Abstract:
Provided are a user created content (UCC) toy allowing a user to directly produce and reproduce content, and a method of operating the UCC toy. The UCC toy includes a speech and image recognition device and a separate memory, and is adapted to recognize and store speech and an image received from an external input device and to output the speech and image, and is also adapted to share self-produced content in a Web 2.0 environment featuring UCC or user generated content (UGC), thereby providing various image-based or language learning and teaching resources. The UCC toy includes: a key input unit receiving a control command from the user; an input unit including a microphone or an input device and producing content that the user desires; a communication unit connected to an external web server in a wired or wireless manner and transmitting and receiving content to and from the web server; a unique code issuance unit issuing a unique code according to the content generated by the input unit or the content received from the communication unit; a memory unit storing the unique code issued by the unique code issuance unit and the content; a card recognition unit recognizing a UCC card, and recognizing and reading the unique code stored in the UCC card; an output unit including a speaker or a display device and outputting the content as a speech or an image; and a control unit controlling each of the above units, wherein the content directly produced by the user is shared.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a story telling toy and operating method thereof, RFID tag is mounted to a doll and the story telling toy outputs a story of the relevant doll as a voice or image, and a history of the story is stored and the story is output in accordance with a state of the story telling history when the next operation. The present invention provides a story telling toy outputting a story in accordance with the story telling history, comprising: an RFID reader for reading a unique code from an RFID tag mounted to an RFID toy; a storage unit for storing a story related to each RFID doll a history storage unit for storing a story telling history state; an output unit; and a control unit for outputting the read story in accordance with a story telling history state stored in the history storage unit.
