Abstract:
A volatile material refill includes a container having a volatile material disposed therein, a plug assembly is disposed within an opening, and a wick retained in the container by the plug assembly. The refill further includes a multi-part attachment for connection to a neck portion of the container and adapted to assist in retaining the refill in at least one volatile material dispenser.
Abstract:
A candle assembly includes a support base with a melting plate upon which a meltable solid fuel rests and a wick holder to hold a wick and engage the meltable solid fuel. The candle assembly further includes a control unit having at least one electrical component to control a light emitting system.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to melting plate candles that employ heat conductive materials to distribute heat from a burning flame at a wick to a plate for melting a meltable fuel. Such melting plate candles more rapidly liquefy the meltable fuel, such as paraffin wax. Further, such melting plate candles more uniformly and intensely heat the meltable fuel thereby increasin the efficiency of consumption thereof and more rapidly releasing volatile materials contained within the fuel. The heat conductive plate is configured so as to have a capillary recess or a capillary pedestal upon the surface thereof, which cooperatively engages a wick holder assembly comprising a wick and a heat conductive fin that conducts heat from a flame upon the wick to th plate. The wick holder further engages the fuel and the plate so as to cause the flow of liquefied fuel to the wick. The capillary recess or pedestal, in conjunction with the wick holder, causes rapid and complete flow of the liquefied fuel to the wick.
Abstract:
A device (10) for applying controlled unitized doses of a flowable material to a surface is disclosed. The device includes a tubular body (20) and a plunger (60). The body has a wall (21) defining a cavity (24), and the body has a first open end (25) and an opposite second end (26) having a dispensing orifice (28). A flowable material is contained in the cavity of the body. The plunger has an outer sleeve (62) dimensioned for surrounding at least a section the body and an inner pushing structure (80) dimensioned for axial movement in the cavity of the body. The device has means for indexed positioning of the second end of the body and an inner end of the inner pushing structure of the plunger relative to each other to provide controlled unitized doses of the flowable material to a surface when the plunger is moved toward the body by a user's hand.

The present invention relates to melting plate candles which employ heat conductive elements to distribute heat from a burning flame at a wick to a support plate for a solid fuel and to the body of the solid fuel, so as to more rapidly liquefy the solid fuel, such as paraffin wax, and to more uniformly and intensely heat such fuels to increase the efficiency of consumption thereof and to more rapidly release volatile materials contained within the fuels. The heat conductive support plate is configured so as to have a capillary pedestal upon the surface thereof, which cooperatively engages a wick holder comprising a preferably consumable wick and heat conductive fins which conduct heat from a flame upon the wick to the support plate, the wick holder further engaging the capillary pedestal in such a locking manner as to resist accidental removal from the pedestal. The fuel may be provided in various forms, configured to cooperatively engage the wick holder and support plate, and may comprise various volatile materials. The capillary pedestal, in conjunction with the wick holder, causes rapid and complete flow of the liquefied fuel to the wick. The capillary pedestal and wick holder are shaped so as to provide for variance of capillary flow between them when the wick holder is rotated relative to the capillary pedestal.
Abstract:
A valve assembly can automatically dispense aerosol content from an aerosol container at predetermined intervals without the use of electric power. A diaphragm(40) at least partially defines an accumulation chamber(36) that receives gas propellant from a portion of the can during an accumulation phase. Once the internal pressure of the accumulation chamber(36) reaches a predetermined threshold, the diaphragm(40) moves, carrying with it a seal so as to unseal an outlet channel, and thereby initiate a spray burst of the main active chemical. The diaphragm(40) assumes its original position when the pressure within the accumulation chamber falls below a threshold pressure.

A volatile material refill includes a container with a volatile material disposed therein, a plug assembly disposed within an opening, and a wick retained within the container by the plug assembly. The refill further includes an attachment connected to a top portion of the container for assisting in retaining the refill in at least one volatile material dispenser.
Abstract:
A portable volatile material dispenser includes a housing having a top wall and at least one side wall and an opening formed within the top wall of the housing. A volatile material actuator is disposed within the housing and a manifold is in fluid communication with and extends between the volatile material actuator and the opening to move volatile material in the form of a mist from the volatile material actuator, through the manifold, and out the opening. A container holding a fluid is disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the volatile material actuator. An air flow generator disposed within the housing and positioned to create a flow of air out of the dispenser through the opening for moving the mist from the dispenser.
Abstract:
A refill for a volatile material dispenser comprises a container having a neck portion. A wick is in contact with a volatile material in the container and extends out of the neck portion. A structure is disposed on an outer surface of the neck portion for attachment of a cap thereto. The structure is also adapted to interact with latches disposed in a volatile material dispenser to retain the refill therein and the container is devoid of an additional retaining structure on the neck portion thereof.
