Abstract:
Embodiments of a vehicle interior system are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a base with a curved surface, and a display or touch panel disposed on the curved surface. The display includes a cold-bent glass substrate with a thickness of 1.5 mm or less and a first radius of curvature of 20 mm or greater, and a display module and/or touch panel attached to the glass substrate having a second radius of curvature that is within 10% of the first radius of curvature. Methods for forming such systems are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A new steering and suspension mechanism of a motorcycle is disclosed. The mechanism includes a mono (single) front suspension and the front fork attached with the frame, steered with help of a chain sprocket mechanism connected with the handlebar. Due to such arrangement, the wheel bends along with turning t.o wards the direction it is steered, giving the rider a never before experience of handling and manoeuvring.
Abstract:
The present invention provides continuous fluid flow irrigation system for transporting flui across an industrial cavity under substantially constant pressure and reduced turbulence suc that the cavity pressure and the cavity fluid flow rate are absolutely independent of each othe without incorporating any type of controller. The present invention also provides a system t dampen the pressure pulsations created by positive displacement pumps in an active manne without utilizing any feedback mechanism.
Abstract:
A system for minimizing leakage of fluid distending media by the sides of the endoscopic instrument in endoscopic procedures such as arthroscopy, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy. A double-wall flexible tubular sheath having walls containing pressurized fluid is mounted over an endoscopic instrument. The double-wall flexible tubular sheath moves in and out of a natural opening of a tissue cavity or through an incision made in the cavity wall, by a rolling motion.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and a method for distending a body tissue cavity of a subject by continuous flow irrigation by using a positive displacement pump, such as a pneumatic pump, on the inflow side and a positive displacement pump, such as a peristaltic pump, on the outflow side, such that the amplitude of the pressure pulsations created by the positive displacement pump inside the said tissue cavity is substantially dampened to almost negligible levels. The present invention also provides a method for accurately determining the rate of fluid loss, into the subjects body system, during any endoscopic procedure without utilizing any deficit weight or fluid volume calculation, the same being accomplished by using two fluid flow rate sensors. The present invention also provides a system of creating and maintaining any desired pressure in a body tissue cavity for any desired cavity outflow rate.

The present invention provides a system and a method for distending a body tissue cavity of a subject by continuous flow irrigation by using two positive displacement pumps, such as peristaltic pumps, one pump on the inflow side and another pump on the outflow side, such that the amplitude of the pressure pulsations created by a the said positive displacement pumps inside the tissue cavity is substantially dampened to almost negligible levels. The present invention also provides a method of reducing the frequency of the said pressure pulsations. The present invention also provides a method for accurately determining the rate of fluid loss, into the subject's body system, during any endoscopic procedure without utilizing any deficit weight or fluid volume calculation, the same being accomplished by using two fluid flow rate sensors. The present invention also provides a system of creating and maintaining any desired pressure in a body tissue cavity for any desired cavity outflow rate. The system and the methods of the present invention described above can be used in any endoscopic procedure requiring continuous flow irrigation few examples of such endoscopic procedures being hysteroscopic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, trans uretheral surgery, endoscopic surgery of the brain and endoscopic surgery of the spine.

Abstract:
Embodiments of this disclosure pertain to a method of making a shaped glass article comprising securing a cold bent glass article in a retaining fixture to produce a retained, cold bent glass article; and ion-exchanging the retained, cold bent glass article to produce the shaped glass article. Embodiments of this disclosure also pertain to a curved glass article comprising a first and second opposing major surfaces; at least one curve having at least one convex surface and at least one concave surface in the vicinity of the curve on the second surface; wherein the first major surface exhibits a first surface compressive stress and the second major surface exhibits a second surface compressive stress that differs from the first surface compressive stress, and wherein the curved glass article retains the at least one curve while unsupported.
Abstract:
Embodiments of a vehicle interior system are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a base with a curved surface, and a cold-formed glass substrate removably disposed on the curved surface, wherein the curved surface and the glass substrate each have a radius of curvature within 10% of one another. The base may include a center console, a dashboard, an arm rest, a pillar, a seat back, a floor board, a headrest, a door panel, or a steering wheel. In one or more embodiments, the curved surface includes a display, and the glass substrate is disposed at least partially over the display. Methods for forming such systems are also disclosed.
