Abstract: The present invention provides an optical image shutter and a method of fabricating the same. An optical image shutter according to the present invention comprises: an electro-optical thin film layer whose refractive index changes according to an electric field; first and second electrodes separately arranged with the electro-optical thin film layer positioned therebetween; and an electric current prevention layer which is placed in at least one of the areas between the first electrode and the electro-optical thin film layer, and between the second electrode and the electro-optical thin film layer, and which prevents an electric current from flowing into the electro-optical thin film layer.
