Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of identifying a molecule that modulates the activity or expression of endonuclease G for the treatment of a disease selected from a hypertension associated and a hypertrophy associated disease. The present invention also provides a method for determining the level of endonuclease G activity and a method for treating or monitoring a hypertension associated and/or a hypertrophy associated disease.
