Abstract: An optical connector ferrule by which the increase of the insertion loss which is caused by the repetition of the connection/disconnection of an optical connector is effectively suppressed. An optical connector ferrule (1) is plugged into a connection sleeve (SL), and a ferrule main body (11) of the ferrule (1) has a mating surface (16A) which mates with the sleeve (SL). Grooves (17) are formed in the mating surface (16A). The connection end (22A) of an optical fiber (22) is seen from the connection end surface (24) of the ferrule main part (21) of an optical connector ferrule (2) and a plurality of annular grooves (27) are formed concentrically in the connection end surface (24).
