Abstract: The electro-mechanical drive proposed comprises an electric motor (15), a transmission (17) and a restoring spring. In order to improve the ability of a drive of this kind to close the door, particularly in the event of a power failure, a large coil spring (25) is used as the restoring spring, the electric motor (15) being short-circuited when it is not powered in order to create a generator effect.
