Abstract:
The invention relates to a systematic arrangement of units for the handling and transmission of alarms. Alarm events are detected in local alarm systems. The appertaining alarm information can be transmitted, via a considerable number of different communication alternatives, to central monitoring stations that have the task of monitoring and updating the local alarm systems. The systematic arrangement of units disposes over a considerable number of various means for ensuring both the safe transmission of alarm messages and the delivery of said messages to the intended recipient.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method, a system and a SIM-card for monitoring an alarm path between a radio device and an alarm server for alarm path monitoring. The radio device comprises a digital processing unit for running a computer program means for monitoring an alarm path between a radio device and an alarm server. The computer program means is stored on the module as a computer program code that is readable by a digital processing unit of the radio device, the computer program means includes coded instructions making it possible for the radio device by means of the digital processing unit to communicate open path verifications to the alarm server at predetermined time intervals.

Abstract:
Mobile telephone systems are widely used in the transport of valuables. Such systems are a suitable means of providing protection, but are vulnerable. The signals from mobile terminals can be criminally interfered with/jammed, thereby depriving the terminals’ possessors of protection. The present invention remedies this by, irrespective of whether of not there is any voice or data transmission, having each mobile terminal transmit signals regularly, randomly or when triggered by an event. The regularly or randomly transmitted signals are registered in the system’s switching center. Where a signal is missing, information on the absence is, after logic analysis in the switching center, immediately and automatically transmitted to the alarm reception center. In the present invention, it is an extra advantage to have mobile telephone position monitored by satellite and to have satellite data directly added to the signals from the mobile terminals. In the event of signal failure, alarm reception can then immediately geographically pinpoint mobile terminals or their positions immediately before the break.
