Abstract:
Described are methods of removing solvent residues and/or nitrocellulose residues from a pre-purified polyolefin, in particular from pre-purified polyethylene recycling cuts, the polyolefin either being treated with washing water, the solvent driven off and simultaneously the nitrocellulose washed out of the polyolefin, or the polyolefin being washed with purified solvent, the solvent separated off mechanically and the solvent residues remaining with the polyolefin expelled by a stream of nitrogen. Also described are devices for carrying out these methods.
Abstract:
A device for perforating webs of foil, in particular plastic foil, has at least one pair of rollers through which the foil is moved. The pair of rollers includes a spiked roller with spikes which extend radially from its outer surface, and a mating roller held against the spiked roller and whose outer surface has a lining which can be penetrated by the point of each spike, for example an elastic outer ply. The outer surface of the spiked roller has at least one recess in which a spike is arranged in such a way that only a section of its point protrudes by a predetermined extent beyond the outer surface.
