Abstract:
A double ply metal sheet for use in car construction has its stiffness increased and its weight reduced by comparison with metal sheets made of solid material. The embossed area of each boom raised above the base surface of the boom amounts to maximum 30 % of the total surface of each boom. A torque-transmitting auxiliary member is mounted between the centre lines of the bosses of each boom in contact with the bosses of the other boom. The torque vector lies in a plane parallel to the plane of the booms.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an adjustment device for at least two rear-view mirrors (13, 14) of a vehicle (1), with servomotors (18, 19) for positioning mirror elements (13, 14) by means of a pivoting and/or tilting mechanism (20, 21). Other essential components of the adjusting device are: an actuating device (8) for generating control signals for the common activation of the servomotors (18, 19); and a signal transmission device (20) between the actuating device (8) and servomotors (18, 19). To carry out common adjustment of at least two mirror elements (13, 14) with a mechanically simple system, the adjusting device is configured in such a way that a matching control signal can be fed to the (minimum of two) mirror elements (13, 14) from the appropriate servomotors by means of the signal transmission device (20). During the adjustment action, the movements of the mirror elements (13, 14) are in a predetermined relationship with one another.
