Abstract: A connector (1) for a windshield wiper, and a wiper blade assembly including same, that accommodates multiple pin-type windshield wiper arms having varying pin lengths and locking mechanisms. Abstract: A wiper blade connector (10) releasably secures a wiper blade (50) to a wiper arm (60, 70), thereby forming a windshield wiper blade assembly. The wiper blade connector (10) comprises an elongate body member (12) having opposite facing side walls (14a, 14b), a front end, and a rear end. The opposite facing sidewalls (14a, 14b) include means (18) for receiving and releasably securing to the mounting base (40) on a wiper blade (50). At the front end of the elongate body member (12), a first tongue receiving opening (22) is sized to receive the corresponding front tongue (62, 72) of a wiper arm (60, 70). At the rear end of the elongate body member (12), a second tongue receiving opening (24) is sized to receive the corresponding rear tongue (74) of a wiper arm (70). A locking mechanism, such as a partially rotatable door member (30), releasably locks the wiper blade member (50) to the wiper arm (60, 70).
