Abstract:
Novel devices, systems, and methods for providing exterior flooring that can be installed over existing exterior surfaces (30-102), such as surfaces of an outdoor deck, are provided herein. In some aspects, a joint device or joint member for an exterior floor covering (70) can include a body portion (24-92) and at least one tongue portion (26-90) extending from the body portion (24-92). The joint device (16-86) can be adapted to connect adjacent floor panels (72) and secure the floor panels (72) to an underlying surface (30-102). The joint device (16-86) can, but is not required to pass liquid (L-R) there between. The joint device (16-86) and adjacent floor panels (12-14-82-84) can be made of water resistant materials. The joint device (16-86) can further include an optional opening (94) adapted to receive an attachment member for attaching portions of the joint member (16-86) to an underlying surface (30-102).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a set of panels (1, 2), in particular floor panels, comprising a first panel (1) and at least one second panel (2), wherein - the panels (1, 2) are respectively provided with a first edge (10) and with a second edge (30); - the first edge (10) and the second edge (30) are configured to establish a connection between the first and the second panels (1, 2); - the first edge (10) comprises a lower lip (11) with a step (12); - the second edge (30) comprises a downwardly open locking groove (31), which in a connected state of the panels (1, 2), or of the edges (10, 30), cooperates with the step (12) and ensures a lock in a horizontal direction; - the connection can be established by a vertical relative movement of the panels (1, 2) with respect to each other; - a separate clip (50) is provided which is disposed on the first edge (10) and comprises - a movable clip head (53), which, in a locking position, in the connected state of the panels (1, 2), cooperates with a blocking surface (33) on the second edge (30) in order to lock the panels (1, 2) in a vertical direction, and - a clip base (54) which cooperates with an activating surface (35) of the second edge (30) in order to press the clip head (53) into the locking position during the establishment of the connection. The set is characterized in that the clip (50) comprises a fixed fastening part (51), a flexible connection area (55) and a movable clip portion (52) comprising the clip base (54) and the clip head (53), the fastening area (51) being firmly connected to the first edge (10) and the flexible connection area (55) connecting the fastening part (51) to the movable clip (52).
Abstract:

Abstract:
A decorative laminate board having edges, a decorative upper layer and a rear layer. The decorative laminate board includes at least a base layer, an intermediate decor layer and a wear layer where at least one of said layers comprises polymers. Predetermined portions of the decorative upper layer is provided with an embossed surface through means of a laser beam.
Abstract:
Surface structured decorative boards (1) having a first and a second opposite edge (1 I and 1 II respectively). The board (1) include an upper side decorative surface (2) an upper side surface structure and a base layer. The structure is comprised by at least two surface grades (10) forming a decorative surface pattern on said upper side, said pattern being applied in predetermined fixed positions (P) on the first and the second edges (1 I and 1 II respectively). The first edge pattern positions (P L ) and the second edge pattern positions (P R ) are matched so that the pattern continues over the first and second edges (1 I and 1 II respectively) of adjacent boards (1).
Abstract:
The invention is a joint cover assembly for covering a gap adjacent an edge of a panel that covers a sub-surface, and a method of covering such a gap. The assembly includes a moding having a flange, a first bar, and a second bar. The flange is positioned along a longitudinal axis, and the first bar extends generally orthogonally from the flange. The second bar extends generally orthogonally from the flange. A tab depends generally orthogonally from the first panel engaging surface. At least one of the tab and the flange engage the edge in order to tightly fit within the gap. The method includes the steps of placing the flange in the gap, pressing the respective panel engaging surfaces into contact with respective panels, and configuring at least one of the tab and the flange to cooperate to retain the molding in the gap when the assembly is in an installed condition.
Abstract:
Panel, which, at two opposite edges, is provided with coupling parts that allow joining by a downward movement, said coupling parts comprising a male part that fits in a female part, wherein vertically active locking portions are provided at opposite sides of the male part and female part, wherein these locking portions are located at different distances from an upper side of the panels.
Abstract:
A decorative laminate, comprising an upper decorative layer and a carrying core. The upper side of the core is provided with the decorative layer and the lower side of the core is provided with a balance layer. The balance layer having the purpose of preventing warping of said decorative laminate and at the same time having the purpose of acoustic dampening. The balance layer comprising a polymer and cellulose said balance layer having a density in the range 30 - 300 kg/m3. A predetermined area portion of the balance layer is compressed so that the density is increased by a factor 1.3 or more. Said increased density does not exceed the density 1100 kg/m3. The balance layer hereby forms at least one low density area and at least one high density area.
