Abstract: The present invention relates to a vehicle (100, 200, 300, 500), which is provided with at least one retractable mechanism (6) attached by connection means (7e, 7d, 8, 10, 11) at one end to the underside of the frame (2) or the vehicle body (1) and at the one end to a ground-engaging member (7, 12, 13, 18, 19). The retractable mechanism (6) being configured for actuating the at least one ground-engagement member (7, 12, 13, 18, 19) between at least a retracted position, in which retracted position the ground-engaging member (7, 12, 13, 18, 19) is positioned at a first distance from the ground surface (4), and a ground-engaging position, in which ground-engaging position the ground-engagement member (7, 12, 13, 18, 19) is in contact with the ground surface (4). The vehicle comprising control means for at least controlling, on the basis of commands received from an operator, the actuation of the ground-engagement member (7, 12, 13, 18, 19) between at least the retracted and ground-engaging positions.
