Abstract: A food warmer comprises a supporting frame (11), a tank (12) and a closing cover (13) rotating around a horizontal axis (14). Abstract: In a food warmer with a cover (14) hinged on a frame (11) by means of respective side pivots (17, 18, 19, 20) for rotating it around an axis of rotation (16) between a closed position and a fully open position, there are elastic reaction means (25) between the cover (14) and the frame (11) to oppose the rotation moment generated by the cover weight. Each hinging comprises a pivot element (19, 20) on the frame (11) and a fork (17, 18) for radial engagement therein arranged on the cover (14). The elastic reaction means (25) are contained in at least one of said pivot elements (19, 20) to react on the fork (17, 18) engaged therein.
