Abstract:
Assembly (1, 1', 1") for forming a hollow metal body (2) comprising a precursor (4) having a substantially tubular wall (6), which extends about an axis (X) and delimits a body compartment (8), and a forming device (10, 10', 10"). Such device identifies one or more injection passageways (12, 12') of a pressurised liquid in the body compartment (8) to induce an expansion of the latter, and comprises a pair of half-moulds (14, 16), which jointly delimit a mould chamber (18) accommodating said precursor (4) and configured to contain plastic deformations of the tubular wall (6) following expansion. Such device comprises axial compression means (14, 16; 80, 80') of the precursor (4) to deform the tubular wall (6) radially externally and obtain the metal body (2).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a ball valve (1) comprising a valve body (2) which delimits a sealing seat (4, 46), a ball seat (6) and at least three fluidic ducts (8, 8', 8") which converge in the ball seat (6), a hollow ball (14), received in the ball seat (6) and movable to allow/prevent the fluidic communication between the fluidic ducts, two or more sealing elements (10, 10', 12), at least one thereof placed into the sealing seat (4, 46) in abutment with the ball (14), whereby only one of the ducts acts as introduction duct (8) of the sealing element (10, 12) and of the hollow ball (14) inside the valve body (2), to position them into the respective seats (4, 46, 6). The valve further comprises a ball-compressing element (16) which delimits a further sealing seat (4') to receive the other sealing element (10') and connected to the introduction duct (8) of the valve body (2) to press the element (10') against the ball. The invention further relates to a manufacturing method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a shutter for valves, in particular ball valves, which comprises a shutter body (11) having an axial bore (12) and wherein internal surface of this axial bore (12) is provided with a covering layer (14) of a flexible-plastic material susceptible to reducing itself in volume when subjected to a compression thrust and to recuperate the initial volume as soon as the compression thrust terminates. The covering layer (14) is inserted and held between two steps (15) provided at the opposite ends of the axial bore (12) of the shutter body (11).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a ball valve the body of which is composed of a support nucleus (13) forming a transit passage (15) of the fluid along which is inserted the ball stopper, and a covering or shell (14) which tightly surrounds at least part of said support nucleus (14) and that extends from the latter to form at least one of the input and output passages of the fluid with a relative fixing to attach a pipe to it. The support nucleus (13) is made of a metal such as brass, aluminium or the like, or of a plastic material, and the covering or shell (14) is made up of a copper or aluminium tubular element that fits to the support nucleus, or it can be made of a plastic material overmoulded to the support nucleus.
