Abstract:
An absorbent article having, as a back sheet, a porous sheet obtainable by preparing, by melt blending, a melt blended solution comprising 30 to 90 parts by weight of a crystalline polyolefin and 10 to 70 parts by weight of a compound with which said crystalline polyolefin is miscible and in which said crystalline polyolefin will dissolve at or above the melting point of said crystalline polyolefin but which will phase separate below the melting point of said crystalline polyolefin, molding the melt blended solution into a sheet, and stretching the sheet at least in one direction, the crystalline polyolefin being polypropylene having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn) ratio (Mw/Mn) of more than 6.0.
Abstract:
A tray-shaped box body has, for example, a square bottom surface, an open upper surface, a light-reflecting member provided on an inner surface thereof, side walls inclined outward, and holes formed at least at two positions of the side walls near the bottom surface of the box body. LEDs are provided outside the holes, so as to emit light to an inner space of the box body. Protruding portions are formed at upper sides of the holes formed at the side walls of the box body, so as to extend from the side walls.
Abstract:
An echo canceller in a system having a long impulse response such as in an acoustic system, employing a fast Fourier transform advantageously used in view of the amount of calculations. To solve the problem of a long delay, the impulse response length is divided into a plurality of blocks. On the decreased number of samples in each block, a fast Fourier transform and finite impulse response type digital filtering are effected so that the processing delay is decreased while the amount of calculations is kept small.
Abstract:
A building material, which comprises a decorative layer provided on a surface of a base material and containing calcium carbonate as a bonding component and a gas permeable protective sheet laminated on a surface of the decorative layer with a peel strength of 200 to 4,000 mN without a separate adhesive layer therebetween, and a method of manufacturing the same. The building material is excellent in prevention of dirt and abrasion resistance and is enhanced in serviceability.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a speaking device having a hand-free conversation function which comprises an echo canceler (3) that can cancel the echo given by the direct acoustic coupling between a speaker and a microphone caused by a system comprising the case of the device and the grounded surface thereof and a speech switching circuit (6) in which insertion loss of speech signal is so set that its upper limit is equal to the sufficient attenuation quantity for cancelling the echo caused by the indirect acoustic coupling determined by the spatial state where the speaking device is used. A good speech quality is obtained with the processing circuit of a low cost and small size by assigning the optimum shares of the functions to the echo canceler (3) and the speech switching circuit (6) respectively.
Abstract:
A voice coding system which finds by evaluation operation a code vector that minimizes the error between an input voice signal and a reproduced signal obtained through a linear estimation synthesis filtering simulating the vocal tract characteristics for each of the code vectors successively read out from a code book that stores a plurality of noise sequences as code vectors (C0, C1, C2 ....), and then encodes the input voice signal by using a code which specifies a code vector. The code book is constituted as a delta vector code book (11) that stores the initial vector (C0) and a plurality of delta vectors ( DELTA Ci) which consist of differential vectors among the neighboring code vectors. Operation means for the evaluation operation is provided with a cyclic adder means (20) which accumulates delta vectors for virtual reproduction of said code vectors (C0, C1, C2, ....).
