Abstract:
A corrosion resistant electrical connection structure has an electrically conductive cable with an electrically conductive core and an insulative outer cover. An electrically conductive terminal is electrically connected to a lead of the core that extends beyond the insulative outer cover. A molded hot melt seal seals the lead of the core and the terminal interface section from ambient electrolytes. In an exemplary embodiment, the core is made from aluminum or an aluminum alloy and the terminal is made from a copper alloy.

A method for producing an aluminum foil for solid electrolytic capacitors, comprising the steps of cutting an aluminum foil into a shape of a capacitor element, etching a cut end part formed by said cutting, and then electrochemically forming the etched aluminum foil, aluminum foil for solid electrolytic capacitors obtained by the method, solid electrolytic capacitor using the aluminum foil, and method for producing such a solid electrolytic capacitor are disclosed. By use of the aluminum foil for solid electrolytic capacitors according to the present invention, capacitor characteristics such as an increase in the capacitor capacitance and a decrease in the leakage current from the cut end part of a stacked type aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor can be efficiently improved, the anode moieties can be efficiently connected without fail on stacking elements and the productivity of stacked type aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor can be elevated.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing a comb-like capacitor element member including a guide member (3) and a plurality of rectangular metal foil pieces (2) bonded to the guide member (3), comprising an automatic feed mechanism (20) for feeding tape-like foil by a constant length toward the guide member (3), a bonding mechanism (51) for bonding the metal foil (1) to the guide member (3), and a cutting mechanism (40) for cutting the bonded metal foil. According to the apparatus of the present invention, a comb-like capacitor element member having a plurality of rectangular metal foil pieces bonded can be produced efficiently, by bonding the elongated tape-like metal foil (1) without damaging it.
