Abstract: A reinforcement rope to be used in production of reinforced concrete constructions consists of an internal wire (1) and external wires (2) coiled thereupon and forming at least one external layer. The central wire (1) has an oval cross-section, and the external wires (2) coiled on it are in contact with each other and with the surface of the central wire (1). All the wires of the external layer (3) or only some of them have an oval cross-section.

Abstract: A reinforcement rope to be used in production of prestressed reinforced concrete constructions has a variable diameter (D1 and D2) along its length and its sections (2) of large diameter (D2) alternate periodically with the sections (3) of the small diameter (D1), smoothly blending one with the other. The proposed rope is produced either by use of a core with periodically changing diameter or by use, for the outside layers, of a wire with periodically changing diameter.
