Abstract:
Method for predicting a future position of an aircraft based on the physical characteristics of the aircraft, and by monitoring aircraft manoeuvres, the system analyzes pilot controls movements to predict future pilot control movements. The set of such future commands are fed to a 6-Degree Of Freedom (DOF) simulation to enable the determination of future aircraft position. A corresponding system is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method for communication between a number of participants in a region, the number of participants being unlimited, the method comprising the steps: (a) allocating a unique identity to each participant; (b) allocating an order of priority for transmission by the participants based on an order of the unique identities; and (c) in each transmission of each participant there is included: (i) the unique identity of the participant; and (ii) a list of unique identities of all participants in the region.
Abstract:
A grid-based transmission system for determining relative positions of vehicles in a grid quadrangle of a reference grid, each vehicle having a transmitter and a receiver, comprising determining an absolute position of a vehicle. A reference grid is obtained. A reference point for the reference grid is assigned; and a relative position of the vehicle relative to the reference point is generated. The reference grid is a stored and previously generated reference grid, or is generated based on the absolute position and a transmission range of a transmitter. The vehicle sends a position message containing the relative position; the transmission range; an identity of the vehicle; an identity for all other vehicles that have previously sent a position message received by the vehicle; and the relative position of the all other vehicles.
