Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for suctioning off deposits, especially fibers, in a drawing assembly (1) comprising a subsequent fiber bunching zone (2). According to the invention, said fiber bunching zone (2) is connected to a withdrawal roller pair (16) having an upper drawing roller (17) and a lower drawing roller (18) of the primary drafting zone, and the deposits are suctioned off at a distance near the periphery of the lower drawing roller (18) using at least one suctioning device (7).
