Abstract: This invention relates to devices that warn human users. Previously, it was difficult to visually communicate between vehicles. Embodiments of the present invention use a case with a front face joined to a base and an antenna. A channel display window, a channel selector button, a power button, a green lighted button, a yellow lighted button and a red lighted button, arranged on the front face. A mounting ball is magnetically joined to the base. A microcontroller is electrically coupled to the green lighted button, the yellow lighted button, and the red lighted button. The microcontroller is programmed with instructions to: receive a communication from a second visual warning assembly. Then, engage one member of a lighted button set consisting of the red button, the yellow button, and the green button creating an indicating light. Finally, receiving a signal from a user making the indicating light an activated button.

Abstract: A system and method for map based exploration is described. The system includes a dynamic graphical user interface (GUI) that includes a list of targeted content elements for each different group profile, in which a first dynamic GUI corresponding to a first group profile that is served to a first user is different from a second dynamic GUI corresponding to a second group profile is served to a second user at approximately the same location, when the group profiles are different. A map is displayed on the touch screen display and the map displays a plurality of geofences. A geofence selection received by the touch screen display presents the dynamic graphical user interface that includes the list of targeted content elements for the particular group profile associated with the particular wireless device at the geofence selection.

Abstract: The generally up and down movement of a reaction mass is converted into rotary motion which is used to drive a rotary hydraulic spring comprised of a rotary hydraulic pump motor and an accumulator to produce a "spring" function. The invention is particularly applicable to wave energy converters (WECs) having a reaction mass which needs to be coupled to a spring to ensure Its oscillation and to cause it to be centered about its center of travel. Abstract: A wave energy converter (WEC) includes a float tending to move in phase with the waves, a spar tending to move out of phase with the float and power take off device (PTO) coupled between the float and spar for converting their relative motion into useful energy. The PTO includes a rack and pinion mechanism which drives a high-torque, multi-pole, permanent magnet generator (PMG) to produce electrical signals of relatively high frequency relative to the frequency of the waves and the basic motion of the rack and pinion mechanism. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the rack and pinion mechanism may be located within the spar which may be hermetically sealed by a sealing mechanis'm which allows a thrust rod coupled between the float and spar to move up and down with little friction to ensure efficient operation. In addition, a braking arrangement is provided for inhibiting relative motion between the float and spar during extreme severe wave conditions. In this way, the pinion gears and generators need only be sized for the operational wave conditions.

Abstract: A method of detecting two different target molecules through a single electrode is carried out by (a) providing a conductive oxidation-reduction reaction detection electrode; (b) contacting a sample suspected of containing a first and second target molecule to the electrode under conditions in which the first and second target molecules are deposited on the electrode, wherein the first target molecule comprises a first label and the second target molecule comprises a second label; (c) contacting to the electrode a first transition metal complex that oxidizes the first preselected label in a first oxidation-reduction reaction and a second transition metal complex that oxidizes the first and second labels in a second oxidation-reduction reaction, with the first and second oxidation-reduction reactions producing different detectable signals; (d) detecting the presence of the first target molecule by detecting the first oxidation-reduction reaction; and (e) detecting the presence of the second target molecule by detecting the second oxidation-reduction reaction.
