Abstract:
An intake and exhaust system for an internal combustion engine having a unitary engine block. The system comprises a power cylinder, an intake lifter cylinder and an exhaust lifter cylinder that are formed integral with the engine block. This engine block has an intake port, and an exhaust port for allowing exhaust to flow there through. To control the flow of exhaust gasses and the intake of air mixture, there is an intake lifter disposed in the engine block adjacent to the engine block intake port. There is also an exhaust lifter disposed in the cylinder adjacent to the exhaust port. An oblong cam disc coupled to a cam shaft drives the intake lifter and the exhaust lifter intermittently so that exhaust can flow through the engine block from the intake port and out of the exhaust port.
