Abstract: An expandable polymer composition in the form of beads is manufactured by a seed polymerisation process, wherein an advantageous setting of the molecular weight and thus the glass transition temperature of the polymer composition is possible while allowing a reduced content of blowing agent within the expandable polymer composition.
