Abstract: A press with a capability to adjust for multiple roll diameters, comprising: a frame (12); a mounting assembly with at least one adjusting arm (13,14) for mounting a roll (16) therein, the adjusting arm (13,14) being moveable to change position relative to the frame (12) in correspondence to a change in diameter of the roll; a guard assembly tha tprovides a guard (22) across a pinch point between a roll and another element, the guard assembly being movably attached to the at least one adjusting arm (13,14) and to a portion of the frame (12) to automatically adjust a position of the (22) when the at least one adjusting arm (13,14) is moved in order to maintain a spacing between the guard (22) and the roll (16) within a predetermined range.

Abstract: There is provided a removable ink cassette (19) for a flexographic printing press (1) containing an ink pan (3) and a meter roll (5). The ink pan (3) and the meter roll (5) are removed from the printing press together by removing the ink cassette (19) from the printing press. The ink pan may be removed from the printing press without first removing the anilox roll (7) and the meter roll (5).
