Abstract: A tool for removing lagging strips (5) from conveyor belt pulley drums (3) is disclosed. A tool head (30) is driven across the drum (3) against the end of the strip (5), and simultaneously raises the metal clips (7) which retain the lagging strip. Parallel tubular elements (15) guide the tool head (30) across the drum, and a hydraulic cylinder (23) or winch may be used to power the tool head.
