Abstract: A scent dispensing system includes a scent-impregnated solid polymer material formed by mixing a liquid polymer, a liquid polymer precursor or a liquid solution of a polymer with a scent compound or formulation and solidifying the polymer from the mixture. The system further includes a powered dispersal system including a heating formation. The scent- impregnated solid polymer material is located on or adjacent to the heating formation. The heating formation is adapted to heat the scent-impregnated solid polymer material to a temperature which is greater than the temperature of the surrounding air in order to sublimate scent from the scent-impregnated solid polymer material.
