The invention relates to a device for conveying a row of loose objects in a vertical direction positioned one behind the other, whereby the device comprises two support elements extending in a direction of the row of objects, it being possible to move said support elements in conjunction with a downward directional component between a first position, in which they support the loose objects, and a second position, in which the support elements have moved away from each other, and a carrier element positioned below the middle of the support elements to hold the loose objects when the support elements move away from each other, whereby the support elements are shaped such that they support the objects while they are being conveyed downward, over a significant part of the path toward the carrier element. As a result of the fact that the support elements provide the loose objects with sufficient support for the entire path, the mutual spatial relationship, such as the row, is maintained during the conveying operation.

A device for processing foil-like material, such as opening and/or closing packing paper round an object (V), which device comprises a support (1) for the object in addition to a processing apparatus movable relative to the support, wherein the processing apparatus is provided with a carrier (5) movable over the foil material having at least a pair of wheels (9), whereof the rotation shaft of the wheels encloses an angle, this such that with this movement of the carrier the wheel peripheries exert a force on the foil material directed toward and/or away from each other in order to effect a closing or opening action on the foil material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for opening the envelope (3) of a stack of can lids (2), comprising opening means for locally disintegrating the envelope and lifting means for lifting the envelope, wherein the opening means comprise a nozzle (14) which is connected to a source of a hot gas. This object is achieved as a result of the measure of lifting the envelope from the can lids prior to opening of the envelope, and melting the envelope with a jet of a hot gas. According to a preferred embodiment, the lifting means comprise a chamber (7) which is open on its side directed toward the envelope, as well as vacuum means for generating and sustaining an underpressure in the chamber. This measure has the result that the envelope is moved away from the stack of can lids without prior contact with the stack of can lids or the envelope. This embodiment furthermore requires only a simple construction.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'ouverture d'enveloppes de piles de couvercles de canette comportant un moyen de découpage local de l'enveloppe ainsi qu'un moyen de soulèvement de l'enveloppe muni d'une buse raccordée à une source de gaz chaud. Les gaz chauds assurent le soulèvement de l'enveloppe et la détachent de la pile de couvercles avant son ouverture puis sa fusion sous l'effet de la chaleur. Dans l'exécution préférée le moyen de soulèvement comporte une chambre ouverte du côté faisant face à l'enveloppe et un moyen de succion créant et maintenant une dépression dans la chambre. Ainsi l'enveloppe s'écarte de la pile de couvercles ce qui leur évite d'entrer en contact. Cette réalisation se caractérise en outre par sa simplicité de construction.
